Misurina and Agudo peak

Plan B guessed: fantastic excursion at Auronzo

An impeccable day from a meteorological point of view: sun and not even a cloud in the sky!
Today I, Giorgia, Mattia and my brother Leonardo are ready for the adventure at the Tre Cime di Lavaredo ...
The conditions are there. they were all and even the desire was great until the arrival in Misurina: Jesolo is less crowded in mid-August!
We arrive at the entrance to the road that leads to the Tre Cime and we find a police patrol that blocks the passage with a lot of sign : "Full parking". To myself I say that it is not possible, there will be over 300 parking spaces at the top and, in view of the high toll, I do not expect it to be complete by 9.00 am. Unfortunately, the agent confirms it too and we have to fall back to search for a parking space in Misurina and decide on the new itinerary.
First we decide to take the beautiful tour of Lake Misurina: a beautiful walk within everyone's reach, even the very little ones in the stroller. The Tre Cime di Lavaredo stand out against the ever-magical background. Returning to the parking lot, we notice that the police have lifted the prohibition of passage, but it was necessary to understand if perhaps they would have stopped us at the toll booth. So I leave on foot to check and, in fact, a queue was already forming at the tolls with over 100 cars and one would pass for each car that got out.
There would have been an infinite wait in the car and it was not worth it. worth it. So reorganized your ideas and refreshed at the Antorno lake in the presence of the Drei Zinnen, we chose plan B: Mount Agudo above Auronzo.

This mountain is renowned for the presence of the Fun Bob, the most adrenaline-pumping attraction in the area.
An unknown destination even for me and therefore even more exciting.
We left the Three Peaks behind and arrived in Auronzo the parking area was already much more livable, airy: nice choice!
Taking the chairlift, we reached the area called “Malon basso” where the beautiful “La Zopa” refuge is located. Here we have taken the uphill path towards Monte Agudo.
The track is very wide and represents the ski slope for the winter season.
The sun and the heat here were felt more than in Misurina and we always sought the shade that gave us a nice refreshment. All around us a beautiful forest accompanied us on the ascent with special windows: on one side you could see the end of the Auronzo lake while on the other the top of Auronzo, top of Bagni, and mount Giralba stood out in front of us. , up to the small Three Peaks on the left.
In a short time we rushed to the La Zopa refuge to recharge. Here you can relax in the most absolute tranquility in a place surrounded by 360 ° nature: a beautiful revelation this Mount Agudo!
After the break we embarked on the descent following the path of the Fun Bob and right on the dedicated ski slope to Alberto Tomba.
You could see that the track is a beautiful red: very leaning with beautiful straight pieces, sometimes narrow. It put a strain on everyone's knees, but the continuous presence of a panorama of the Auronzo Dolomites didn't make us feel the fatigue ... maybe even the screams of the children who went down in Bob relieved the fatigue.
L he arrival of the path is right at the beginning of Lake Auronzo and rejoins the cycle path that runs alongside it.
A short ascent on the edge of the Ansiei river has brought us back to the car happy about the beautiful day spent on Mount Agudo, but with the promise that soon we will all try again the tour of the Three Peaks.
