First release after 3 months of stop due to COVID-19. We are in full "phase 2", the Veneto region has provided for the use of masks also in mountains (rightly). Departure from Forno di Zoldo, already at the parking lot I find many cars and after the first kilometers I meet several people: all are polite and respectful to the dispositions and, before exchanging on the path, we all wear a mask.

In 1h and 45min you can calmly reach Pramper hut, very beautiful and full of space to relax, too bad it was closed. Noteworthy is an immense meadow at the foot of the Moschesin Castle just before the Malga. Up to here the path can be considered for everyone (T). Continuing on a path in the middle of the woods (523) and then through mountain pines, you arrive in about 1h to the Sommariva refuge. The 360 ° view of the Pramper, Cime de Zita and Moschesin Castle is beautiful. This last piece makes the whole journey a little more demanding. In the initial part of the route, the instabilities caused by the Vaia storm can still be seen.
